Key Features
Variable output voltages are useful when the DC/DC converter is part of a controlled load (e.g., temperature control). “Variable” can mean adjustable, configurable, or freely programmable during ongoing operations.
To operate non-linear loads, DC/DC converters are used as current sources.
The particularly high efficiency of the front end (PFC) enables the power supply units to be used worldwide without any power restrictions (derating) and fulfills all country-specific requirements regarding THD and EMC.
We meet the requirements regarding EMC, mains behavior (hold time), leakage currents, and isolation for certification to IEC/UL 60601.
By combining efficient power supply components with special cooling surfaces, we can create compact passively cooled power supplies.
To isolate the outputs from the mains and earth potential, we offer isolation systems with UL and IEC approval that meet the safety requirements for medical technology.
If several different or separate output voltages are needed in an application, integrating all voltage converters into a single device is the more cost-effective alternative.
We achieve a cost advantage for applications with our medium power supply units by integrating the supply channels of different loads into a single supply unit. This then takes over the power management for all parts of the customer’s system or becomes part of the existing power management. Typical loads include sensors and actuators, workstations, displays, batteries for uninterruptible power supply and peripheral devices.
We develop and manufacture medium power AC/DC power supplies for the following applications:
- Manufacturing of medical technology devices
- Supply of machines
- Lighting equipment
- Autonomous vehicles
Technical Data:
- Output power: 100-3,000 W
- Output voltage: 0-1,000 V
- Output current: 0-50 A
