For this purpose, you have the option of commissioning a forwarding agent of your choice or an appropriate parcel service at your expense to return the old electrical devices to us.

In order to process the return correctly, please proceed as follows

1. Completely fill out the form for the return and disposal of old devices on this page
2. Upon receipt of the form, we will immediately send you a RMA number
3. Send the goods back to us stating the RMA number (at your expense)

Please note that we unfortunately cannot process incomplete requests.

Personal responsibility with regard to the deletion of personal data

We expressly point out that according to § 19a ElektroG any personal data on the equipment to be disposed of must be deleted by you.

Meaning of the symbol for marking electrical equipment

The symbol of the crossed-out waste container on electrical equipment indicates separate collection of old electrical equipment and means that it must not be disposed of with household waste.

According to the EU Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and of the EU Council on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) or the revised version of the EU Directive, 2012/19/EU, there is an obligation to collect waste electrical and electronic equipment, to treat it in accordance with the regulations, to dispose of it and to finance this. Under the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), which applies in Germany, every manufacturer is obliged to provide a reasonable opportunity for the return of old equipment for users other than private households.

For devices that have been used commercially (so-called b2b devices), Schiederwerk GmbH has developed a disposal concept for environmentally friendly disposal or return to the material cycle and assumes the obligations of the ElektroG for manufacturers to take back and dispose of the devices in full.
