In stage and theatre technology, the serial and digital type of transmission according to DMX-512 has established itself to be the most important transmission standard.

The LED-drive-3x35/-70 DMX is a power supply ready for connection in 3-channel design that is equipped with DMX interface. The device is designed to be used for power supplies in the range of light control.

Main applications are colour mixtures (RGBW). The automatic colour change is being controlled via an integrated device with controlling options. The device has 3 channels that can be activated separately via the DMX 512 protocol. The start adress can be adjusted via coding switches that are easily accessible. With a maximum total power of 30W per channel, a constant current of 350mA or 700mA (dependent on device type) is available per channel. Thus up to 12 Power LEDs per channel can be run.

If a DMX signal ist not available, the control of the LEDs can also be carried out by means of 3 external potentiometers or by means of the integrated device. Several colour cycles with different speeds are feasible. By means of the master/slave function, several devices can now be operated synchronously. This makes installation work easier.

The LED outputs are short-circuit-proof. The temperature of the PCB and of the LED can be controlled by means of an additional temperature measuring input. The 3-channel-device is a perfect solution for many Power LED applications in lighting technology where LEDs shall be controlled from 0-100%.
